PERFORMANCE-LECTURE

About Emotional Intelligence

An in-depth look at Emotional Intelligence, involving emotional stimuli, theoretical and practical concepts, including technical suggestions for improving this skill.

The Performance-Lecture is an exchange with the audience where I share how I went through the experience of grief without the help of psychiatric medication.

This experience begins with an emotional connection through a performance. Here, people can already feel, from the beginning, the emotions that we will be exploring.

We present theoretical/scientific concepts about Emotional Intelligence, its benefits in daily life and interpersonal relationships.

These concepts are also presented in a practical way when I delve into the emotions I experienced during the grief after losing my partner to cancer.

The dialogue is about experiencing emotions. About how to navigate them as both Protagonist and Observer.

What is its relevance?

Emotional intelligence is a way of understanding and dealing with emotions, both our own and those of others.

Emotions are an integral part of our thinking and our decision-making.

The Lecture-Performance not only brings attention to this crucial skill in the age of Artificial Intelligence (which is just around the corner), but also presents ways for all participants to improve their skills.

For whom?

The performance-lecture provides benefits for all types of audiences.

It's a unique experience where everyone can feel emotions and learn how to relate to them.

Everyone will leave more sensitive and reflective about themselves and others. The mix of performance, storytelling, and technical concepts generates an impact that will continue to reverberate within each person, even days later.

There are also specific deliverables targeted to each audience profile.

  • Human Resources (HR) professionals seeking solutions for environments where people feel "repressed and demotivated."

  • Training and Development (T&D) professionals seeking a practical and innovative methodology (corporate education through art).

  • Employees who frequently operate under high stress and use the mechanical routine as emotional anesthesia to cope with demands.

  • Leaders and managers who struggle with the burden of management and express interest in deconstructing the concept of "Command-and-Control" in management and in their own emotions.

  • Caregivers and healthcare professionals who live in a constant state of alert, facing the overload of managing the routine and pain of seriously ill patients.

  • Bereaved individuals who face the painful challenge of rebuilding their lives from scratch.

  • Psychologists seeking practical validation, case studies, and empirical evidence on how the physical body acts in the process of trauma and emotions.
